Monday night in Italian class it was painfully obvious that I need to review the Italian alphabet. Every time our instructor spelled a word I must have had the most confused look on my face. I mean really, do I need to go back to beginning Italian…well maybe.
At times I feel so challenged by the new sounds and the difference in the way letters are pronounced. I master a word (well, what it means and how to say it) but then I see how it’s spelled and it no longer makes sense. I think if I can get past this bump with reading and writing the letters I will start to progress more. I hope.
I need to practice, practice, practice.
